1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

We are GMD Foods cc registration number: 1995/029905/23 trading as Blouberg Distributors (“the Store”) located at 9 Uplands Road, Milnerton, Cape Town. By using the services provided on this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use the Store.

2. USE OF THE STORE

You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this Store.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

You are solely responsible for all activities associated with your account.

The Store reserves the right to not accept any new applicant as well as cancel any existing profile along with associated orders.

3. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

The Store offers a range of products for sale, including but not limited to Spices & Seasonings, Sauces & Condiments, Sausage Casings etc.

The descriptions and images of products provided on the Store are for informational purposes, and the actual products may vary slightly.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

4. PAYMENT AND BILLING

All prices displayed with the Store is (ex vat), VAT will be added at checkout.

The Store accepts various forms of payment, including Direct Bank Transfer (EFT) or Credit Card payments facilitated by PayFast.

By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method.

You authorize the Store to charge your payment method for the total amount of your order, including shipping fees and applicable taxes.

Payment Terms: Payment terms are available for businesses on special request up to 30 days from order date. The Store reserves the right to refuse payment terms on any orders. Any cumulative (sum of one or many) order/s exceeding R15 000 (ex vat) between payments will require a 75% up-front deposit with the balance being paid according to the terms arrangement. All late payments will attract a 2% interest charge for each week of non-payment for the first 4 weeks. Subsequently, the interest rate will increase to 5% for each week beyond this initial 4-week period. Please be aware that new orders will only be processed once your account is fully settled. Additionally, any legal fees incurred by the Store in recovering these fees will be the responsibility of the buyer.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

The Store will make every effort to deliver products in a timely manner. However, shipping times may vary.

The risk of loss and title for products purchased from the Store pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a replacement. Simply send us a photo and description of the incorrect item or issue you have experienced to info@bloubergdistributors.co.za and we will ship you a replacement. Please note that you must notify us within 2 days of delivery, we reserve the right to refuse a replacement in the case of misuse of the product.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

The Store collects and stores personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Store, including text, images, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights.

You may not use, modify, or distribute any content from the Store without our written consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Store is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of products or services purchased on the Store.

We do not guarantee that the Store will be error-free or continuously available.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Store reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Please review this page regularly for changes.

13. PRICING

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, mistakes happen. In the event of an incorrect price on the site or in an order, you will be notified by email or phone, and given the option to accept the corrected price or cancel the order.

14. CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER

The Store reserves the right to refuse processing of payment for any order and/or to cancel any purchase either partially or completely, with notice given to you.

The Store will be liable for reimbursing you the rand value paid only if you have already paid for the cancelled order.

We reserve the right, for purposes of suspected fraud, to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and The Store, in whole or in part.

15. DISCOUNTS

Customer discounts, coupons, or sales campaigns, collectively known as “Discounts,” may be periodically provided on an individual or site-wide basis. The Store retains the right to terminate any such Discount at any time, without prior notice and without the obligation to fulfil any Discount for orders placed after the cancellation of the Discount offer.

16. OFFERS AND CAMPAIGNS

“Launch20” enables you to receive 20% discount on your entire basket (excluding Sausage Casings) for orders over R500 (ex vat). Offer ends 31 December 2023. Only valid for 1 purchase per user. Discount only applies to the first R25 000 (ex vat).
